White Chicken Chili

Ingredients
  • 2 Cans Northern White Beans Drained
  • 1 Can Small White Beans Drained
  • 1 Can Cannellini Beans Drained
  • 4 Roasted Poblano Pepper Chopped
  • 5 Cloves garlic Chopped
  • 2 Medium Onion Chopped (1 Large)
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 1 1/2 TSP Whiskey Smoked Pepper or Regular Black Pepper
  • 1 TSP Black Pepper Fresh Ground
  • 1 TBSP Flour
  • 2 TSP Ground Cumin
  • 8 OZ Creme Fraiche
  • 1/2 Cup Pureed Roasted Pablano
  • 1 1/4 LBS Boneless Chicken Cut into 1/2 Inch pieces
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth

  • 1 Can Cannellini Beans Drained
  • 4 Roasted Poblano Pepper Chopped
  • 5 Cloves garlic Chopped
  • 2 Medium Onion Chopped (1 Large)
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 1 1/2 TSP Whiskey Smoked Pepper or Regular Black Pepper
  • 1 TSP Black Pepper Fresh Ground
  • 1 TBSP Flour
  • 2 TSP Ground Cumin
  • 8 OZ Creme Fraiche
  • 1/2 Cup Pureed Roasted Pablano
  • 1 1/4 LBS Boneless Chicken Cut into 1/2 Inch pieces
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth
Instructions
Season Chicken
  1. Mix Chicken with Whiskey Pepper, Black Pepper and Salt. Set aside.
Saute
  1. Melt butter and oil to a large sauce pan
  2. Add Onion sprinkle with saute until translucent
  3. Add Garlic until heated through (1 Minute)
Chili
  1. Add Chicken to onion
  2. Saute for 10 Minutes stirring occasionally
  3. Add Chopped Pablano
  4. Add Chicken Broth
  5. Stir in Pablano Puree
  6. Add all beans
  7. Mix everything together
  8. Bring to a boil
  9. Reduce to simmer
  10. Stir in Creme Fraiche
  11. Simmer for 30 Minutes stirring occasionally
Recipe Notes

This chili can be made vegetarian by removing the chicken and adding a can of beans (Cannellini or small white Beans) and switch to vegetable broth
