Butter Garlic Chicken
Ingredients
  • 2 Chicken Breast
  • 1/2TBSP Minced Garlic
  • 1Stick Butter1/4 Pound
  • 5 Cloves garlicPealed
  • 1Med OnionChopped
  • 1/2Cup Grated Gruyere
  • 1TBSP Chopped HerbsMix and Match – Thyme, Tarragon, Parsley, Basil, etc.
  • 1/2TSP Salt
  • 1/2Cup Chicken Stockor Broth
  • Salt to Taste
  • Pepper to Taste
Instructions
Chicken
  1. Preheat Oven to 375F
  2. Pound chicken until even about 1/8-1/4 Inch
  3. Season Chicken with Salt and Pepper
  4. Place Chicken in greased baking pan
  5. Set aside
Sauce
  1. Melt 1/2 stick of Butter set aside
  2. In a saute pan melt 1/2 stick of Butter
  3. Saute Garlic until tender
  4. Add onion sprinkle with 1/2 TSP Salt, saute until translucent
  5. Add Herbs
  6. Saute for 1 Minute
  7. Add mixture to Chicken an
  8. Rinse sauce pan with chicken stock and add to Chicken pan
  9. Add melted Butter
  10. Add Garlic Cloves
Bake Chicken
  1. Cook in Oven for 30 Minutes
  2. cover chicken with Gruyere cheese
  3. Cook for 5 more Minutes
